This was our first time at Balboa and we had an amazing experience. Cisco was our server and his customer service was excellent! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The owner made our drinks (sorry that I don’t remember his name). The atmosphere was great l. The service was impressive and the food was excellent! I had the red snapper with steamed vegetables and my husband had the oxtail meal with rice and peas. Everything was well done. Cheers to the chef. I highly recommend giving them a try and we will definitely revisit.

Food was outstanding!!! It was about 16 of us. And everyone enjoyed their meal. Drinks were excellent as wel. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. And I would eat here again! Salute to the Chef and Bartender!

They add a tip to your bill regardless of the size of the party (to ensure you leave a tip). Make sure you look at your receipt. I use to frequent this place due to convenience, until I realized I double tipped on many occasions. They are unwilling to make accommodations to the menu and do not cater to vegetarians. The service is horrible and if you ask too many questions they speak about you in Spanish (unbeknownst to whether they can be understood or not).
