Returned to Il Porto in Gaithersburg after several years absence. Our family used to enjoy dinners there with our parents and I remember the meals we shared there. So we stopped by yesterday at around 4 pm Saturday for a meal filled with carefully prepared entrees, flavors and a dining experience that brought back fond memories of a good time in our lives. Recently threw a large birthday party there - amazing experience from start to finish! The woman I worked with to book the room was very responsive and accommodating. The manager and staff that evening were great and so helpful. A large amount of guests were late due to an accident on the highway but the staff didn't pressure us at all to start ordering before everyone arrived. Also very reasonable cake cutting fee (we brought our own cake). Highly recommend!
