I have to be honest here: if there are any other coffee houses in Galveston it wouldn’t matter because there’s only one MOD and the coffee, nibbles, staff, friendliness, artful environment, MOD swag, community bulletin boards, post office street aura, people watching value, and the presence of an abundance of canines makes this the only place to be. Rather it makes it the only place you’ll wanna be. It is a daily ritual after I hit the beach to hit MOD. Oh, and Pro Tip here: you’re gonna wanna pay for two hours of parking so just go ahead and do it. If you wanna check out the bookstore next

This is the kind of coffee shop tourists usually miss and locals quietly enjoy. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and genuinely pleasant. It’s probably not the best place for kids or even teenagers—it feels more like a spot to come with your partner, or to sit alone with a good book and a cup of coffee. The coffee itself is really good, but what makes the place special is the environment. When the weather isn’t too hot outside, it becomes especially enjoyable to sit and just take your time. A very nice place to slow down for a while.

Horrible iced matcha sadly, took one sip but I just couldn't make myself take another. I hate wasting :( However, I did love the coffee! Honeybee is yummy, iced and frozen. I love the outside area and the staff was decent. Both staff members kinda looked at each other, hoping the other would cashier until one of them just caved and took my order. Not too busy when I went but drinks came out quickly. Beautiful area outside to enjoy, best part! Thank you :)

Amazing laid back coffee shop. Honey Latte was delicious! My wife got the Cardmon Latte. She loved it! Definitely worth the stop
