⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After hearing all the hype, we finally stopped by while staying in La Jolla, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. Every bite had that authentic Baja-style street taco feel that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. One thing that really stood out was the condiment bar. The selection of salsas and hot sauces was outstanding, ranging from mild and flavorful to seriously spicy, allowing everyone to customize their meal exactly how they like it. It’s a small detail, but

The food is amazing!! It is a small place so seating for our family of 6 was tricky. We got 2 California burritos and an assortment of tacos. All the good was delicious. The salsa bar had great options. The pickled onions were top notch. I wish the seating area was bigger that is why I left 4 stars on atmosphere.

I have never waited this long for food in my life. From the moment I got in line to actually receiving my order, it took about two hours. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. Don’t get me wrong, the tacos were really good. But no food is worth that kind of wait. I tried a few different items, and my favorites were the carne asada and Baja tacos. They were fresh, well-seasoned, and didn’t have any unpleasant smell. The churros were also excellent. Overall, great food, but the wait time completely ruins the experience.

Quite the popular spot, we waited an hour to eat. The tortillas were delicious, however the filling was tasty, yes, but not quite worth the hype. One piece of pineapple in the el Pastor made me sad. For sure go if there is no line, otherwise, find somewhere else to eat!
