Teral Everson★★★★★I purchased two identical plates with salisbury steak and gravy over mashed potatoes, cabbage, and blackeyed peas. That part of the meal was great as usual!!!! The only complaint I have is with the cornbread. In the pan, it was tan side up, which is also the way it was placed on both plates...and I purchased and extra one as well. On the bottom side, it was completely inedible because it was burned...severely!!!! Im not sure why it was put on my plate let alone, put out to be served. I've been to Anderson's plenty of times in the past and this has never happened before so it may have just been
Hersel Gunn★★★Big RED FLAG! My hamburger steak and with onions were Luke warm on the outside and cool on the inside. It seems like it may have been partially reheated from a leftover (onions were extremely overcooked, yet lukewarm). I had to send my food back to be heated up. My wife’s rice was not hot. Perhaps the system that keeps the food hot wasn’t working properly.
Nina V.★★★★Anderson’s Diner is my go to spot for a home cooked/soul food meal! Of course, like any other food establishment, they have their good days as well as bad days, but overall, it’s a decent meal. I usually order the pork chop plate with collard greens & black eyed peas! The cornbread is amazing! The servers usually provide generous portions so it’s well worth the money! If you plan on going on a Sunday, be prepared to wait a while (that’s a busy day for them)…overall, I highly recommend this business!
