Mohan Sun★★★★★Great atmosphere for a date night or catching up with friends. The space feels lively but still intimate, and the service was attentive throughout our visit. The pasta was solid overall, freshly made with a nice chewy texture. Lamb Ragu Rigatoni and Gramigna are our favorites. They are great to order together and share since the flavors and ingredients are quite different. We also tried two other pastas with tomato-based sauces. They were fresh but leaned a bit too acidic for my taste. Personally, I preferred the richer, braised-style sauces. The lounge area hosts a martini hour during the
Michael Boyland★★★★★Cucina Morini has the best cocktail value in there cafe/bar at the front of the restaurant that you can hit up before or a meal or as a standalone app/drink spot. The sit down restaurant is also great. My favorite combo is crudo for an app, pasta for the meal and end with their dessert offerings. We went on a collab night with another favorite restaurant owner and it was amazing!
Craig Spisak★★★★★The food and wine were fabulous. Not a huge selection for either which I think is better. Keeping the options smaller meant perfecting what they do well. We 3 shared a salad, the cauliflower and potatoes as appetizers and all were excellent. We also shared two pastas which were quite good. The service was attentive and pleasant also. The dining area was fairly loud so I would not recommend this spot for a romantic dinner or business meeting but it's great for a friend's group out.
Naoko C★★★★★First time trying Cucina Morini and got to dine during restaurant week! While waiting for our last friend, we had martinis at the bar for Martini Hour which is a DEAL. $7 and I had the Calla Rossp which was a fun, fruity drink! 🍸 For restaurant week we had the burrata (fantastic), gnocchi and spaghetti w/ mussels (both were amazing), and the gelato sundae (one of the BEST desserts I have had at a restaurant). To top it off, this 3 course dinner was only $40, one of the best deals you can get! Not only were the food and drinks fantastic, but service was quite stellar. A shout out to Carlos
