We had dinner at Le Petit Bristro with friends. This is a small French restaurant in Mountain View. This is a family restaurant and the service is excellent. The photos showed what we ordered and overall the food tastes good. The duck entree is very tasty and cooked just right. It is a small restaurant and not too crowded on a Friday evening, although we went there early. Not noisy so good to have a conversation over dinner. Try this restaurant if you have not don’t do. It has a simple menu but good representation of French cuisines.

Don't be fooled by the size: small and Petit does not necessarily mean mediocre. Same thing applies to the size of the menu: a short menu like they have guarantees freshness and quality. A hundred lines menu only guarantees frozen food microwaved at the last minute and sub MacDo quality. From coq au vin to escargots and perfect filet mignon with Madagascar pepper you will find the best of classic French cuisine. All prepared with love and attention. The owners are very friendly and make you feel home. We had the beef fillet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The small vegetable and potatoe

The boss immediately ran over to my table and talked to the waitress in French, and then claimed to me in English that they are not serving a second the piece of bread given they are overbooked. The waitress literally waited at my table so

6/14/2025 Le Petit Bistro 1405 W El Camino Real Mountain View, CA 94040 I went there for an early Saturday dinner. It's an easy to miss place on east bound ECR in MTV. There is some parking in the back, enter from the furniture store lot. It's small and cozy inside. Service was attentive and exceptional. I had the Côtelettes D'Agneau au Jus et aux Herbes de Provence, medium rare; with a complimentary glass of wine with a local paper coupon.. The mint jelly was a perfect marriage with the lamb. It was delicious. I also got the onion soup for take out. This was an excellent French dini
