Awesome friendly staff. Great bowls and smoothies. And this is the real deal - not a franchise. The owner is awesome and sources all her ingredients herself, develops her own recipes and has wellness and nutrition front and center. The place itself is very comfortable and cozy.

Looked over the menu but did not see exactly what I wanted. Cashier asked what I would like. “Acai bowl with bananas/blueberries and granola.” She said, you want the breakfast bowl then. Not to waste her time, I said whatever has those items. I arrived home with what looked like a good size serving bowl of light brown puree with fruit and granola. Puree tasted bland. Clearly no Açaí. Looked online and realized yes, breakfast bowl and no, no Acai. Personally did not enjoy this at all. Very disappointed I did not reiterate Açaí when I said I wanted the items in a bowl I asked for. Clean and cute Zen Cafe in the enclave of Eastdale ( Town of Poughkeepsie) where strolling is encouraged and easy. The salads are freshly prepared with fun ingredients but portions are on the small side. Two salads set us back $38 plus tip. NYC prices. Service was lovely and attention was made to avoid serving me any allergens. Street tables and inside options.

Great space with an overall relaxing vibe. The kitchen was preparing a big catering order, which is why I think the service was a little slow and disorganized. The Soul Bowl and Sedona wrap were outstanding. The menu is marked with asterisks for food containing wheat or nuts, but the key at the bottom is partially covered. I was impressed with the positive response when I said people with allergies would appreciate if it was more visible . I will definitely return
