Kelly’s Bakery is truly a hidden gem in Poughkeepsie. They have some of the best pastries, coffee, and chai latte I’ve ever had in the area. Everything is consistently fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, but what really makes this place special is the people. Everyone here is incredibly kind and friendly. We were in the area and decided to try it. Everything was amazing, the croissants were so fresh, crispy and tasty and as a real French woman I'm picky about my croissants ! The price wasn't bad at all compared to other places area that serves you stale croissants for 5 bucks!!! We also got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was delicious!! With gruyere cheese and fresh brioche bun, you can't go wrong. Plus we had a latte and it was very good! Highly recommend!

Today was my first trip to this cute little space. The breakfast sandwich and cappuccino were really tasty and priced fairly. However, the reason I wanted to leave this review is the staff. they were absolutely wonderful. They asked the right questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. staff that weren’t waiting on us directly were conversing and laughing with us. They bussed our table quickly but didn’t rush us out the door. And best of all, they remembered my name. I found that impressive. Especially since we sat at our table for quite a while. We love love love Kelly's Bakery so much. We've been coming for years now, and it's been incredible since the beginning. The pastries are delicious, the food is just as good, and the people are so kind. I also appreciate that they keep track of who is on line and letting people know to order before grabbing a seat. I've been to other places where there is a sign that will say something similar but then the rule is not enforced.
