Fatayer is the definition of a hidden gem. I’ll be honest, when we first pulled up I wondered where my friend had brought me! then I walked in, saw the big tea thermos with mint on every table, and instantly relaxed. The zaatar with akawi cheese, meat pies, hummus, falafel, foul, fresh bread, and that bright green chile sauce with olive oil were all insanely good, the kind of food that makes you forget where you are for a minute and just teleport. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and straight from someone’s kitchen, and the simple space and warm hospitality just add to the charm. I’m just vi

Amazing 10/10. True hole in the wall with great food. Fatayer are so authentic. Fresh delicious manaeesh. Highly recommend the muhammara. The msabaha was also 10/10 with complimentary fresh bread. Tea at every table, you self serve. Small limited seating but so worth while.

Quiet unassuming restaurant and bakery, serving DELICIOUS dishes. Tucked into a small space and making the most of it. Genuine, nice people working there. Falafel sandwich, fouled plate and akkawi cheese zaatar were so good. Iraqi bread was great! Complimentary Arabic coffee at the table was a nice touch. I really enjoyed this visit, and will be back. Thank you guys!

The fatayer were excellent — almost 99% like the ones you get in Saudi Arabia during Umrah or Hajj, or even the ones people bring back to the USA. The taste felt very authentic. They were also kind enough to let us try their falafel, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it tastes just like Al hashem in Jeddah. Totally recommend if you’re an Arab and craving for back home taste!!
