Lo★★★★I came during a weekday lunch because I’ve always seen a line here on the weekends. The service was great and attentive. I ordered the most popular dish, the spicy minced pork aburasoba, along with the calamari appetizer. The calamari was crispy and tasted good, but for the price, it didn’t feel worth it since there were only a few pieces. The noodles came out quickly and were very hot. You’re supposed to mix everything thoroughly, then add condiments from the table like chili oil, sesame seeds, chili paste, garlic, and vinegar. The noodles had a nice bite and were cooked al dente, but I wis
Amy★★★★★Great chewy noodle texture and very flavourful!! Would definitely come again. There was a line but short wait for the outdoor seating. Chill ambience, the space between tables was reasonable but you could clearly hear your neighbor’s conversations at very loud volume.. we overheard a very spicy and shocking conversation from the table adjacent to us. At first it seemed like a lot of onions and chives but after mixing it was a good ratio of sauce noodles and toppings. Friend ordered the mozzarella cheese add-on topping and it was literally just a little bowl of the shredded mozzarella cheese y
Ruofei Du★★★★★The spicy dry noodles "Homura Aburasoba" are incredibly tasty, with a rich, bold flavor that feels truly special and unlike your typical ramen dish. 🌶️😋 The Hiyayakko tofu is another standout—simple, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. 🥢✨ On the other hand, the Wagyu roast beef aburasoba was a bit too greasy for my taste and isn't something I'd order again. 🥩⚠️ The tamagoyaki was just so-so, nothing particularly memorable. 🍳 Overall, the Homura Aburasoba alone makes Kauiken well worth trying! 🌟👏
Spencer Q★★★★★Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: One of my go tos for ramen! The extended review... Food: Keema Curry Ramen - 5/5 - This is a wonderful dish with plenty of flavor! You have an option of egg preparation, I usually get the ajitama. Don't forget to mix the noodles for 20 seconds!! Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 4/5 - There is both indoor and outdoor seating and never have I not stood in line. It is definitely worth the wait. Portion to Price: 3/5 - Pretty standard portion size for price.
