Classic neighborhood Irish pub. Went for happy hour on a Wednesday and got two rounds of drinks which were both really good. Didn’t try any of the food but definitely will next time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out

The Sunday prime rib roast, was one of the best I’ve had in the city, go on a Sunday early before they sell out, the best local home cooked meal you’ll have. Big portion, spilt one if your not hungry or take home for leftovers. 10/10 Also creamy pint of Guinness and friendly staff.

I have passed this pub many times and made a mental note to stop in, having read a diary of one of the last inhabitants of the Blaskets. I finally paid a visit today and was not disappointed. First and foremost, there was a photo of Irish Antarctic explorer, Tom Cream, on the wall, as well as a photo of the diarist I had read. One of the owners, Liam, was tending bar as the rest of the crew was out for the annual staff celebration dinner.
