Ms. Perez★★★★★I stopped by here completely on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! The food is absolutely fantastic—packed with flavor without being overly salty. Everything I've tried has been delicious, which is why I've come back several times since my first visit. The drinks are excellent, the food is consistently amazing, and the service has always been friendly and attentive. Just a heads-up: they don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait during busy times. One of my favorite things about the restaurant is the beautiful Puerto Rican décor. It creates such a warm, vibrant atmosphere and really adds to the overall experience. What makes this place even more special is that they regularly host events for the community. I've seen live DJs, sip-and-paint nights, documentary screenings, and other unique events that make every visit feel a little different. It's more than just a restaurant—it's a place that brings people together. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get pretty loud, especially d
g2rizo★★★★★I had a fantastic time the vibe, culture, music. Was excellent the food was delicious well cooked served beautifully. The staff was very friendly, patient and the wait for the food is good. One of the best Latin cuisine I been to, I highly recommend.fyi they had a family bathroom where you change your baby diaper. Super exclusive and very family oriented also very clean with puertorican revolution art on the walls. The Mta 6train just a couple blocks away which is very convenient.
Franjez★★★★★Bario BX is serving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine done the right way. The pernil was juicy with crispy skin, the bistec encebollado was tender and well seasoned, and the tamarind ribs were perfectly balanced with a light sweetness. The alcapurrias and pastelillos tasted homemade, not mass produced. You can tell there is real care behind the food. Everything felt like a true home cooked meal. Quality ingredients, strong flavors, and generous portions. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food in the Bronx.
christina pantojas★★★★★This was my First time come in here and let me tell you it will not be the last time. I can’t wait to go back. I happen to go when they were giving a live event to our Cultura! In special event for the woman of Fania!!! It was history, music, poetry food the vibe was amazing. Our people are just beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious el sabor!!!! Que Rico!! Highly recommended this is a must!
Kayla Lalles★I was really excited to try this place after seeing so many TikTok reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The restaurant itself is small, which I don’t mind, but there was live music playing at an extremely loud volume. It made it difficult to hear our server, and she couldn’t hear us either. By the time our food came out, I had a headache from the volume alone. I’m Puerto Rican and love the music and atmosphere, but the volume really needs to be more reasonable so guests can actually enjoy their experience. The service was just okay. The hostess was friendly, but the wait was about 45 minutes. Our waitress didn’t check in on us after the food was served, which was disappointing because I would’ve mentioned that my chuleta seemed over-fried in old oil, it even had a puddle of oil on it. We also ordered wings as an appetizer, and they came out lukewarm and soggy. On a positive note, the bistec and arroz con gandules were both very good. Overall, the experience wa
Ashley O'Neill★★★★My new favorite spot for lunch No doubt a lot of effort was taken to curate this mostly Boricua Menu Good Job Barrio BX Next time we come are returning to Queens we will make an effort to get done her to the Boogie down. Music had us dancing on our seats and, no disrespect to Made in Puerto Rico, but your music is way too loud. Both eateries are an experience. The Alcapurrias are fire and the Surullitos were great as well. The steak with onions was good and well put together. The chicken Al Horne came out a bit cold but the staff fixed it right away. Affordable prices and good service

Dee Cee★★★★★Barrio BX is a gem in the Bronx 🇵🇷🔥 I went with my brothers for the first time on a Saturday for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The food is authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love, every bite hits. The rabo was insanely delicious, tender, rich, and cooked to perfection. From the atmosphere to the service, everything felt welcoming and full of Puerto Rican pride. It was my first time there, but definitely not my last. If you’re looking for real Puerto Rican cuisine done right, this is the spot. 💥This review is solely my opinion and reflects how my taste buds experienced this restaurant 😊
