Robert Negron★★★★A mixed review. The chicken I had when I dined in was different from the chicken I was given in my to go order. Pollo Campero is a new venture here in Tampa with a location on Fowler Ave next to Taco Bell and another on Waters near Target that was yet to open last I checked. A Guatemala born chicken venue that serves "fried and grilled" chicken. The sides are mostly latin american while both types of chicken do not feel fried or grilled. They both seem steamed more than anything else. The machines where the chicken is cooked is new technology and enclosed (picture shown). I ordered a 3 pc me
ernesto gerardo★★★★★Excellent service and very good food. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. I also tried the sides, and everything was hot and well prepared. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
Mine None Your Biz★Outrageously priced. Chicken pieces leg, thigh, breast weren't even as big as what is on a Cornish game . Only taste is grease over peppered place is dirty. Staff need training. They should have some staff that actually understand n speak English. Avoid this Place!!!!! The food is not worth the price. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
Claudia Garfias★★★★★Solid choice for fried chicken. So its like a KFC with hispanic music in your background. I do miss the "yellow sauce" that the original Campero in Central America served. Overall a clean environment, the chicken was crunchy and warm, the ladies were nice and with bilingual customer service. They have nuggets as well for the younger ones in the family.
