I get it. There’s so many chain restaurants and it’s easy just to go to the familiar spots. But I really want to encourage you to try this local diner! I met a friend there today and we both enjoyed a delicious meal. He was “on the cut” so he ordered steak and eggs, and he said they were the best he ever had! I got the strawberry chicken salad, and it was fantastic! Definitely a BIG salad! Very, very friendly staff. It’s a little bit of a hard lot to turn into but from the time you walk in, you’ll be treated like family.

Stopped in for lunch and was expected the typical diner food, but was absolutely impressed with the taste of the food and attentively great service. We ordered the blintzes, gyro plate, saganaki, reuben sandwich with onion rings and chicken noodle soup along with sweet and sour cabbage soup. All of it was fantastically delicious. The saganaki, which was set aflame table-side (cue the ever customary “Opa!”) had a wonderful crisp texture on the outside and that satisfying savory flavor you’d be silently hoping for when it’s first set alight.
