I love Panera and I usually get food from the Barrett parkway location which I never have a problem with. However, I’ve never been so disgusted enough with food to leave a review. I got the chicken and wild rice soup at towne lake for pickup and once I opened it after driving back home it was foul. It was a deep brown color, only filled half the cup and the taste was foul. I love this soup usually and it’s typically like white/yellowish. The service was great! Good was good as always. The manager, Chance, was very young and I was impressed at how organized everything was and with the way he communicated so clearly with his staff. He offered to help them and was kind and respectful. Made my day!

Review: Disheartening Experience at Panera Bread (Towne Lake) This a review from our experience on Wednesday April 1st, 2026 between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. We have been a loyal Panera Bread customer for many years and have always enjoyed the quality of their food, but my recent visit to the Woodstock location off Towne Lake was nothing short of appalling. As two senior women in our 80s, we expected a simple, pleasant lunch. Instead, we were served inedible food and treated with a shocking lack of basic courtesy. Walked in no greeting. 5 minutes later still no greeting. No one would give me eye contact. Place was dirty. Soda machine was a sticky mess counters were stained with spilled soda. Finally someone gave me eye contact and didn't greet just looked at me. Smh what had happened to customer service and why is the place so dirty?
