The Boathouse is in a fantastic location overlooking the Fitzroy River, with beautiful views that make it easy to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Parking was easy, with plenty of nearby street parking available. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived promptly. The poke bowl with added prawns and smoked salmon was fresh, generous and full of flavour. Staff were pleasant and very friendly. Being a hot night there was a beautiful breeze making us enjoy our meals more. All were impressed by the food and service. Only 1 minor hiccup. The power for the whole grid went out. Luckily they had emergency lighting. All had a great night and I am so thankful the Boathouse made my brother's first birthday party a great success. He loved it Thank you so much. Prices were great too.

It was a rainy day, my Mum’s 81st birthday, and we had 2 little dogs with us. The staff could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable and to be honest, I think we had the best table.
