Stopped in late on a Friday afternoon for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Boathouse is in a fantastic location overlooking the Fitzroy River, with beautiful views that make it easy to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Parking was easy, with plenty of nearby street parking available. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived promptly. The poke bowl with added prawns and smoked salmon was fresh, generous and full of flavour. A wonderful night by all. My brother's very first birthday party held on his 60th birthday. The Events manager was very accommodating and helped with everything. Staff were pleasant and very friendly. Being a hot night there was a beautiful breeze making us enjoy our meals more. All were impressed by the food and service. Only 1 minor hiccup. The power for the whole grid went out. Luckily they had emergency lighting. All had a great night and I am so thankful the Boathouse made my brother's first birthday party a great success. He loved it Thank you so much. Prices were great too.

From the booking, to the dining experience, to leaving the restaurant, our experience at The Boathouse was absolutely brilliant, 10 out of 10. It was a rainy day, my Mum’s 81st birthday, and we had 2 little dogs with us. The staff could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable and to be honest, I think we had the best table. The staff were so friendly, caring and efficient. They took the time to explain the Seafood Platter in detail which was so delicious and fresh and generous - all cooked to perfection!
