Delicious, strong coffee, perfect to hold as you wander through South Melbourne Market and energize up for a morning of shopping. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating made it a lovely spot to enjoy a summer morning. It’s clearly a popular destination, and now I can see why.

Coffee is nice. I think I enjoyed it more when I visited last like 4 years ago. A bit light for me these days but worth visiting and tasting it yourself. Market days on weekends are awesome! 7.5/10

Got an iced latte for my walk back to CBD and this hit the spot. Coffee to milk ratio was just right. And they don’t put ice in it like in the US so the drink does not get watered down. Gotta love the Aussies and their dedication to the coffee craft. Cute little post on the outer aisle of the market.

Terrible discriminatory service, will never step foot in this café again. The problematic staff is a white male around 180–185cm tall with short hair and a green baseball cap. I witnessed obvious racial bias during my visit: he chatted cheerfully, smiled warmly and offered attentive service to every white customer that came in. Yet when Asian guests (including me) queued to order, he gave cold, dismissive responses, barely made eye contact and acted annoyed to take our orders, completely ignoring basic hospitality standards. Equal customer treatment regardless of ethnicity is the bottom line
