Stopped by Hyderabad Cafe in Cambridge, and felt instantly at home. The vibe is warm, personal, and homely, and the staff are humble, genuinely eager to suggest their best dishes. I went with the house recommendations: butter chicken with fresh naan, silky, balanced, wipe-the-plate good, and a dum biryani that was fragrant, generous, and not heavy. Wrapped it all up with a strong cup of karak chai—perfect finish. Simple, honest, delicious food with the kind of hospitality you remember. I’ll be back and am bringing friends.

First visit to Hyderabad Cafe and I really enjoyed the food. The gobi manchurian and paneer biryani were fresh and tasty. Service was quite slow, but the staff was very polite and they didn’t charge for the gobi manchurian because of the delay. Overall, a good experience.

Extremely disappointed with Hyderabad Cafe. I ordered Chicken 65 Biryani and what I received was clearly not fresh. It tasted like old, stored, and reheated food, not something cooked the same day. This is not a one-time issue they have delivered food like this multiple times, which shows a serious lack of quality control. As someone from Hyderabad and a true biryani lover, I know exactly how real biryani should taste and feel. This was nowhere close to authentic. The flavor, texture, and freshness were completely off.
