I visited The Black Sheep for a last‑minute dinner with a colleague, and the experience was impressive from the moment we arrived. Our coats were taken promptly, we were seated without delay, and the service throughout the evening was consistently attentive and polished. Our server demonstrated excellent attention to detail and maintained a friendly, professional presence that elevated the entire meal. I began with a Caesar cocktail, which featured a perfectly seasoned rim and excellent flavour. Although the menu advertised a bacon garnish and the drink arrived with a pickle instead, it was s

We had appetizers to start with an order of the mussels. They were done in a great light white wine and butter garlic sauce where the mussels were the star of the show. We ordered the fish and chips that were great, fish was tender, flavourful, and paired with steak fries and a squid ink infused homemade ketchup. (The pork belly could be replaced with something healthier like chicken instead of tofu.) But, the portion of food was the problem in general. Other than the burger, most of food is served not generously. Ramen noodle was so little that you could finish in 3 bites. It is served in a shallow bowl not the typical ramen deep bowl. Crab cake was good but comes only with two pieces for almost $18. The most disappointing thing w
