I've been a couple times, both alone and with friends. I highly recommend the fried rice woth veggies as an addition to anything else (say, whenever you'd add white rice). I don't know how they do it, but the fried rice at Shiki is the best fried rice I've had. The currybwith fried duck is also stupendous. Moreover, I found a sake (picture attached) I really liked in their selection of 4+ sake types. So if you wanna try and find a sake, Shiki is also nice. You can either go for a frugal vegetarian fried rice meal or for an amazing sake with fatty tuna.

A beautiful restaurant with very good meat. I ordered the udon carbonara, and the steak on it was perfectly grilled and well seasoned. The noodles and cream sauce were also delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful, modern and stylish restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the service was good overall. But cleanliness seriously damaged the overall impression. There were visible stains on the chairs, especially on the upper parts where people constantly touch them with their hands. The menu itself was greasy and covered with fingerprints, the cutlery looked slightly dirty and one of the sauce dishes was not properly cleaned. Very nicely-decorated restaurant in the centre of Leipzig. A bit pricey, but the quality and taste were quite good. The beef steak was a bit overcooked though, they didn’t know how to cook steak rare from the look of things. Service was friendly and attentive. Modern take on Japanese fare.
