I've been going to this bar for over 20 years. I recently went to top up my cigarettes and ask the cashier if I can use the bathroom. She says, "Sure, get the bartender to give me the key!" I get to the counter and find the bartender busy making a betting ticket, so he didn't want to be disturbed. In fact, very rudely, he doesn't give me the bathroom key, and after spending €20, he tells me to go to the bathroom and play €1 on the 10 and lottery or buy something at the bar. What are you supposed to say? He's changing jobs???
