“Very nice cosy place. Somewhere very in (so fully booked) but where you still feel at home and comfy. A very wide variety of food (many outside the fixed à la carte menu) that tastes real good. The whole overall experience is very pleasant and would easily be repeated.”
“This restaurant serves excellent food and great wines. You should not miss their Mussels when available and the shrimp tartare. We were served by Ali who is really excellent and very attention-ate to details.”
“Cutest nicest french restaurant in beirut. The moules & frites are to die for, the desserts just exquisite. As for the service, fully professional. Bravo.”

Peter Azzam★★★★★Petit Gris – A Cozy Culinary Hideaway We had dinner at Petit Gris and absolutely loved the experience. It’s a warm, intimate spot — perfect for couples or small groups looking for a relaxed yet refined evening. The atmosphere is charming and understated, with soft lighting and thoughtful details that make the space feel special without being overdone. The menu offers a delicious variety of dishes, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Everything we tried was carefully prepared, and the balance between creativity and comfort food was just right. The staff was welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall inviting feel of the place. If you're in the mood for a quiet, cozy dinner in a place that feels both personal and elevated, Petit Gris is a wonderful choice.
Nada Jreissati★★★Le Petit Gris is often described as a refined dining spot, but it didn’t quite meet the expectations. Despite the name, it’s not a French restaurant, and the overall experience felt more casual than elevated. I had been looking forward to visiting for a while, but I left disappointed. The atmosphere is quite loud, which takes away from the dining experience. I didn’t try the steak, but I found the Brazilian steak on the menu to be noticeably overpriced for the setting. The parsley à l’escargot was overwhelmed with parsley, masking the flavor of the dish. And to my surprise, Prosecco was not served in proper glassware—a detail that matters, especially for a place that positions itself as upscale. Overall, it’s not fine dining, and in my opinion, it doesn’t live up to the hype.

Marc Akra★★★★★I recently dined at Le Petit Gris in Gemmayzeh, and it was an exceptional experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with delightful flavors. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance created a wonderful dining atmosphere. To top it off, the Pavlova aux Marrons was simply delicious. A must-try for anyone seeking a memorable French cuisine experience!
rola awad★★★★★Le Petit Gris is a true gem tucked in the heart of gemmayzeh. The place itself is not pretentious. The design does not distract you from the food, and it is welcoming. It gives you the vibe of a bistro, but the prices are in no way modest, nor the dishes are simple. It is pricy, however you get your money's worth. Suitable for a special date such as an anniversary. The dishes are superb. The ingredients are fresh and chosen carefully. the taste is multidimensional, unique, and well balanced. The service is absolutely fantastic. Ali is just so warm, so professional. I rarely encounter such good service in Lebanon. He gave excellent recommendations. The pavlova dessert is a must-try.
Nizar Kassis★★★★★Cutest nicest french restaurant in beirut. The moules & frites are to die for, the desserts just exquisite. As for the service, fully professional. Bravo.
