The interior design (maybe not design) is reusing the old pawn shop style with some old school furniture as decoration. Walls are flaking off with a sense of the building is going to collapse soon😂. The lighting provides halloween feel (because it is halloween month?). Food and cocktail are so so, devil eye (cocktail) dont look very devil eye, probably need some improvement on the presentation. Staffs are friendly but they dont really pay much attention to customer, hiding inside another area chitchatting while we are sitting in another room. But we able to take the whole room like our own house since nobody is serving us until we check with them😆

Went down to Ipoh for a day trip. Wanted to try something that is away from the usual dinner crowd (ah Wong). Found this and gave a try. We were there early just right when they open so it was just us. Hopefully the e crowd and vibe get better later of the night. Corktails are reasonably priced at 25 nett each and is yumm! Nothing fancy but for the price is decent. Ordered something hazelnut I wish they didn’t literally out the beans into the drinks 😅 The food were good too! Had the gourmet wantanmee with Abalone and ebrico pork.

For such a vibey place, drinks and food were disappointing. We ordered some bites and yakitori. The mushroom yakitori tasted bland and burnt 🤢. Also got the worst old-fashioned in the universe. The whole smoke gimmick and the smell of burned hazelnut threw us off so much. Couldn’t even have a sip of it. There is a fine line between smokey and burnt that the team needs to learn. My milk tea cocktail was pre-made in a bottle and they served it with a plastic cup filled with ice to the brim! In the cup there was at least 2cm of melted water already. Not a surprise that the drink tasted like a mocktail. 😒 What a joke. So much potential.

Good vibes speakeasy, truly a hidden gem. Not too crowded and serves good cocktails and yakitori. Recommend the cucumber G&T and the (Patience - 等一下) cocktail. Recommend the pork belly and mushroom yakitori too! Great service from the team as well, constantly kept my mum’s warm water refilled through the night.

Very old-looking F&B establishment that just opened for business on 15th Jan 2023. Looks like it was formerly a pawn shop, and now, kept to the theme, hence its name "dang" or "pawn" in Mandarin. Dimly-lit inside, which is good for a quiet chat. Not quite suitable for families with young children. Serves alcohol, too. Quite unique.

Edamame were very good and tasty. Service was only oke since I ordered a negroni and instead I got a gin lemon something without asking which was a bit disappointing but still the drink was good. Atmosphere, rooms and vibe is actually very very cool but the music was to loud for a bar for my taste and it smelled like my grandma’s place due to the old furnitures.
