This is a place worth supporting. I really like how they thoughtfully reuse recycled materials, and the greenery at the entrance is very pleasing and welcoming. It wouldn’t be wrong to say this is a café I visit every time I’m in Yangon. The coffee was enjoyable as well — a medium roast, which I was satisfied with. One thing to note: if you’re coming by car, part of the road is closed, so it’s important to choose your route carefully. Unfortunately, the staff experience was not good. Even when customers were present, some staff members made sarcastic or disrespectful remarks toward guests.

The service here is great, and the place has such a cool vibe which is perfect for a date or just to take some nice photos. One thing that really stood out is that all the staff wear traditional clothes, which gives it a really unique and cultural feel. The seating is kind of all over the place as every table looks different with its own style, which makes it fun and artsy. It's definitely more suited for teenagers or casual hangouts, not so much for business meetings. The prices are a bit steep, especially for the coffee and drinks I had, which were on the smaller side. But overall, the experience was worth it.

Maw Yon Cafe This coffee bar and restaurant offers a wide and vintage ambiance that feels both charming and inviting—a great choice for gatherings or events. While the taste is average and prices are on the higher side, the excellent décor makes it a perfect spot for photo enthusiasts. The garden space in front of the shop is a major attraction, adding to its overall appeal. However, roadside parking with entry from the wrong side can be a bit nerve-wracking. On the bright side, the staff are polite and attentive, making the experience pleasant overall.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Maw Yon Cafe is an absolute gem in Downtown Yangon. Tucked away behind a lush mini forest, it’s the perfect spot for a romantic date, a gathering with friends, or even a birthday celebration. The Burmese food is high-quality and delicious, drinks are excellent, and the vibe is cozy and welcoming. Kid-friendly too, with board games and art activities, plus live music and open mic on special nights. One of my favorite places in the city!

Maw Yon Cafe. A cafe with great cultural vibe. The interior itself has its value to visit. However, food was below average with a fish dish with very bland taste and no flavors, and the soft shell crab omlete with invisible soft shell crab and the very unmatching tomato sauce. The impression was that the kitchen is not too professional. Latte was using quality beans, but overall balance was just mediocre. Maybe a good place just to hang out and have drinks.
