“Visited Jasper for the second time for a lunch (after having dinner the other night) and it truly didn't disappoint. Tasty food, amazing staff, and complete value for money place. Tbh, it was recommended to me by ChatGPT, and how! Special shoutout to Reetu, who was our server for the day. :)”
“We ate here numerous times during our stay in Kathmandu. The food was consistently good and the service excellent. We were served by Dinesh and Ishwor who were both friendly and attentive. It was our first time trying mo mos and they were delicious. Very good value for money”
“It was our last night in Nepal and we were desperate to end our trip with a Nepali thali. But it was very late at night and almost all restaurants were shut. Jasper was open. And it was lovely! The staff was kind and the thalis were delicious! Great last meal of our trip!”

Banita Verma★★★★★Food and ambience are _so good_ and the staff make you feel at home. Jasper easily ranks as *one of the best cafes in Kathmandu with genuine prices*. It’s where you go when you want delicious food, warm service, and a cozy break without getting overcharged. Located right in the heart of Thamel at P876, Thabahi Road, Jasper is a hidden gem that keeps popping up as one of the best cafes/restaurants in Kathmandu. It’s open late 10AM-1AM, perfect for brunch, dinner, or post-sightseeing chill. *Food* The menu is huge — Italian, Indian, Nepalese, pizza, sushi, thakali sets, momos, and vegan options. Standouts: *Goat Shank* that’s “tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked”, *Fettuccine Alfredo*, *Margherita pizza* with crispy crust, *Mutton Thakali*, *Crunchy avocado sushi*, and *Spaghetti Carbonara*. Portions are generous and beautifully presented. Even picky eaters get accommodated — they’ll make egg fried rice off-menu for kids or adjust for lactose intolerance. *Ambience* Warm, inviting

Gum Seo★★★★Title: A Peaceful First Meal in Nepal, Away from the Hustle of Thamel Located just a step away from the dusty and noisy streets of Thamel, this hidden gem offers a quiet escape. After passing through a slightly dark alley, you’ll find a surprisingly cozy space. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the waitress's warm and relaxing smile. The soft music and clean tables immediately put us at ease. Chicken Curry: It was absolutely excellent—just like the authentic taste I had in Delhi, India. Chicken Burger: The patty was delicious! However, it would have been perfect if the bun had been served a bit warmer. Vanilla Milkshake: Just a heads-up that the texture and style are a bit different from what you might typically expect. Overall, the food was clean and well-prepared, making our first meal in Nepal a great success. I’m staying in Nepal for the next three weeks, and I definitely want to visit this place at least once more.

Aleksandr Dilmukhametov★★★★★What a wonderful place to visit! I found this restaurant judging the reviews from the Google and it was such a right decision! Went here two times to enjoy non-vegan set which is just an amazing option for dinner! I highly recommend this place because it’s located in the city centre and you can feel nice atmosphere and the service was really great. And talking about the food, I think it’s one of the tastiest sets I ever tried in my life. Thank you so much for such an incredible experience 😇 Mr. PRAKASH was my waiter and he was so respectful and nice to me. Highly appreciated that!
Vidya H★★★★Had a really satisfying experience here. The food was genuinely very good, especially if you’re looking to try authentic Nepali flavors. The momos were a highlight : fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The ambience adds to the charm of the place, creating a warm and relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for both casual meals and longer hangouts. Service was also quite good.
Samiksha Lamichhane★This is the worst thakali set I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Please don’t let the Google reviews fool you. This is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review. I was really hungry and ordered the Thakali set, but it was a huge disappointment. The food was served cold, and almost everything tasted stale.. The karela and potato fry looked and tasted like they had been fried a month ago—I’m honestly not exaggerating. The potato fry also had a very bad smell, which made it even more unpleasant to eat. Nothing tasted fresh. The vegetable selection was also very disappointing. They served karela fry, karela achar, salad, the same salad as achar, and cauliflower with potatoes. The cauliflower dish had only one small piece of cauliflower and two pieces of potato. When I asked for additional vegetables, they brought me more potatoes instead of cauliflower. The daal also didn’t taste fresh at all. If you’re planning to order the Thakali set, I strongly recommend eating somewhere else.
