This place dates back to 1653 and tgr name translates into English as "The Gold Office". The place was busy with office parties but we were lucky that had a 'table for two'. The starter of bread with a selection of spreads/dips and the thinly-sliced smoked salmon with capers and dill wax just the best combination. We opted for the special burger, made from Itish beef, and it didn't disappoint. All rounded off with a coffee and shared tiramisu. A lovely setting with friendly staff and great service 🫶.

The beetroot burger was absolutely fantastic! It had so much flavor. The salad that came with it was very fresh and had lots of different vegetables in it. The dressing was also really good. We sat up in the loft, which I would highly recommend. It was an overall wonderful experience.
