This place was a delight! It’s in a central location, and the venue is STUNNING. Our server, Mattijs (I hope I spelled that right), was so so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He spoke English like a native and treated us like friends. The food was amazing. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked. I had the best Caesar salad of my life there. It was also the best bitterballen I had in The Netherlands. The drinks were also great. We were seated immediately and we had consistent attention from the servers without them hovering or being intrusive. They were perfect.

We tried waag lemonade I really enjoyed it(a bit sweet) We also had the nachos, which were tasty too. We sat outside by the canal, and the atmosphere was lovely. Then we went inside and I was honestly amazed — the place is so big, I almost got lost! I’m definitely coming back here for dinner sometime, I’m really curious to see what it’s like in the evening.

The pepper sauce for the steak was excellent. We got a medium rare steak, but it hadn't been relaxed long enough after cooking, which was visible on the cut of meat. The risotto was a bit watery, but tasty. The service was very slow, but polite. Overall, it's a good place in the city center.
