If you go to Santiago Cathedra, you’ll notice outdoor seating to the left. You can dine in or dine out. The tables outside go quickly. Luckily, the host inside hooked us up and we were able to snag a coveted seat. We ordered the Basque-style cod (bacalao a la viscaina) and a side of bread. We sipped on an aperol spritz and a mojito while we people watched.

We had a very good breakfast here. Tortilla with tuna was great and we also really liked their crustless cheesecake. Decent coffee, they have oat milk. Nice staff. It was very nice to sit outside on the window bench in the sun and watch the life on the busy square.

Spanish food at reasonable prices. Food was okay, service was too busy handling it all but was friendly. The inside of the restaurant is too loud, just too many people talking and yelling at the same time, babies screaming is too much.

Good coffee, good pastries. Nice indoor and sunny outdoor seating next to the Cathedral. Service is efficient, nice and fast. Both locals and tourists enjoy the place.
