The beauty of the food at this restaurant is not to be missed. We most enjoyed the appetizers. The bluefin tuna in Asian sauces was incredible, the stuffed artichokes were tender and complex, the spoonful of seared goat cheese with smokey tomato made me wish for more, the cod prepared pil pil style was very authentic, as was the turbot prepared the same way. The cheesecake was light and fluffy, as befits proper Basque cheesecake. Just a fine meal.

insane. that was literally the best meal we had the whole time we were in bilbao/san sebastián. it was never part of our plan to visit this establishment, but as we were finding a place to eat (in search of food amidst our hunger at 6pm - since most kitchens only open at 8/830pm), we came across this place. to our disappointment, tables were booked for the day. nonetheless, we got a table for the following day. in short, food was phenomenal. and huge. mind you, we’re 2 2 chinese with a small stomach. ordered 2 starters (stuffed artichokes & polpo), 1 main (sirloin) & dessert (cheesecake). wow.
