Leicester Eats & Sips★★★★Mercado de Atarazanas is a lively and busy market with a really vibrant atmosphere. It’s quite touristy, but still a great place to explore and take in the local culture. There’s a huge variety of stalls, from fresh fruit to meat and a large fish section, which is especially interesting to see. The fish area does have a strong smell, but that’s to be expected and shows how fresh everything is. It’s actually nice to see the range of local fish you might not come across in other countries. Devi D★★★★★This place was very busy at 12:30 on a Wednesday in June but it was fine. We were able to get the last table and have some of the best shrimp for 6 eu I’ve ever had in my life. Staff was friendly. Prices in the Mercado varied greatly so definitely shop around before making a purchase.

Well worth a visit - but visitors should buy goods, rather
Karina Adriana★★★★★If I could, I would just move it. It seem like heaven to me. It was a very, very unique experience that I would love to have again. I spent hours inside until I could eat anymore. I truly recommend it. And the fish market is mind-blowing and the salesmen are really nice everywhere.
