A Green King pub with all the usually trimmings you'd expect from the group. This can be popular in a good way, so dont be n out off with people hanging around the entrance door. Visited in Jan 2026, a large pub and decent drink and food selection with offers on both. Staff are friendly and efficient. Nice oun but showing wear and tear in many places and toilet facilities are a prime example (sink panels dropped off, loose taps, cold hand dryer, worn flooring etc). As this is a good value venue, you can overlook most of the common issues.

I went in this evening at around 8pm with my parents and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was really welcoming and relaxed, and the bar staff were friendly, attentive, and quick with service. We ordered cocktails and both were tasty and really well presented, and full of flavour. We also decided to order food as it was the Chick ‘N’ Mix deal today, and everything came out perfectly cooked, hot, and really tasty. Had a great night the food is amazing and generously portioned I had the chicken burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a great selection of drinks just lacking some more draft ciders and competitive with other tourist destinations on price. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
