An well rounded reasonably priced menu and there’s often discount vouchers to be had. The food is good. It’s not amazing but it’s good. Well portioned as a rule with nice palate. The decor is warm and inviting, everything looks and feels clean too. There’s only two things that let the place down a it for me. One is the pool table. Although on this most recent visit it wasn’t I use; the time before we as a party of 8 had the experience ruined by a horde of about 14 middle aged male hotel guests clustered around the table and they made so much if a racket it ruined the experience entirely. Good value for money with main meals at £5.99 each Food took a bit longer to arrive than expected but it was hot when it arrived. Not much in terms of service very basic order taken no pleas tries. Table was clean but toilets were filthy.

We ate here during our stay at the premier inn. The food was delicious as usual, good value Charlie and Lexi were absolute stars making us feel very welcome. The only downside was the ordering of food was now done at the bar which sometimes led to quite long queues. Maybe take a leap int the 21st century and get an app for ordering at the table
