Very nice looking wetherspoons with plenty of space, similar to the other northern spoons ive gone to in relatively small towns. Has a very nice look to the outside which fits in with the other local architecture. Only went for a late breakfast and a couple of pints so can't speak for how it is as the day goes on. But can't complain when a big breakfast (with extras) and a pint of cider costs you less than 12 quid. If you're in the area and fancy a decent meal at a decent price, or even just want a cheap pint, would definitely recommend a stop in here.

Food was cold. Lumpy/gloomy gravy, tiny portion of frozen mash. Baked beans cold, bacon cremated Vinegar bottles all empty ( upstairs) Coffee was extremely weak. Staff were helpful and efficient
