We reserved a table in advance and mainly went for the food, which was decent but nothing particularly special. The service was fine, the staff were friendly, and the pub itself was quiet and relaxed at the time. I imagine that if the pub were busier, parking could become quite difficult, especially for people travelling by car, as there doesn’t appear to be a dedicated car park. One of the main reasons we chose the place was that it’s dog friendly, and one of the staff kindly brought our dog a bowl of water, which was a nice touch.

John at The New Inn was absolutely fantastic! His service was impeccable, he really listened to what we wanted and went out of his way to make sure we were happy.
