This is a review of their online Sunday roast delivery. During the lockdown it’s nice to treat yourself to a proper Sunday roast but not being able to go to a pub anymore it’s great that this pub now offers an online ordering service. This is the first time I’ve tried it and won’t be the last, excellent service. The Beef was perfection, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, veg, nice meat gravy. I went for sticky toffee pudding for pudding. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday dinner delivered direct to my door.

I call in occasionally for couple of hours either as a solo lady or with husband but Apart from crisps no others bar snacks.. I would love cheese and onion cob or mini pork pies with pickles.. At least a Thursdays and Friday lunch times.. Whilst in there the other day a mature couple walked in and when told don't do food they just left..

We hired The Grand Regency Ballroom at The Old Bell in August for our wedding reception. Brad was super helpful in answering a lot of questions, and allowed us to pop by a few times to see the room. The room is beautiful and spacious which made it perfect for our wedding of about 100. We had 7 tables of 9 which was suggested by Brad and was the perfect amount as many of our guests stood by the bar or stayed in the courtyard which we had great access to. There was also disabled access/toilets if you came through the main bar. The bar was well stocked and the staff really friendly and helpful.

Visited Saturday 28th January 2023, mid afternoon. Built in 1650 it's Derby's largest remaining coaching Inn and was considered one of the grandest outside of London, the Tudor frontage was added in the early 1900s. At its peak it had over 50 rooms, multiple bars and restaurants, it's been a doctor's, court and even held prisoners in its cellar. Nowadays it's massively impressive and gives a real sense of Derby's fairly grand but sadly lost history. The main bar is in 1 room spanning the front, beer choice is pretty good with a nice mix of cask, craft on keg and lager with a full range of
