Whenever I visit Leeds this chippy is always a must! Mermaid Fish Bar offers great value for money considering the quality of the food, it's always a home run! Don't forget to get their curry sauce, it's delicious. The owner and staff are very friendly, hence the number of repeat customers. I don't go to any other place for my fish and chips, the food and speed of service is absolutely amazing! Absolutely worth the trip or stopping by. The customer service is incredible, the workers are beyond polite and are very welcoming and ive become a regular customer. Very high quality service and good!

Mermaid Fish Bar serves some of the best fish and chips in Leeds! The fish is always fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The chips are golden and have just the right amount of crunch. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service can be a bit slow during peak times, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended for a tasty, traditional fish and chips experience!
