The staff were on top form today. They were very helpful and friendly. The manager also took the time to come over and interact with us. It made the experience, of what otherwise would have been a casual lunch, actually quite special. My wife and I came away both thinking about what a lovely afternoon we've had.

I can't give a 5/5 for food; my leggera pizza was 'soft'- that's personal preference though, as I prefer a crunchy base! Also the olives had a funky herb marinade that jarred my friends tastebuds- not sure if dill was in the mix, as they had a bit of a gherkin like twang to them? Service was great- seated quickly, drinks offered immediately and arrived at the tbale promptly. It was the hottest day of the year, and the toilets (upstairs) were scorchio despite it being 9:30pm. I would go back here again, and for me that's a sign of an enjoyable meal! Especially as they were inundated with lots

We mostly choose to come to pizza express because of my taste card but we also like the food. The service has always been good, staff are friendly and attentive. It does seem a little bit too dimly lit for lunch. Unfortunately in our recent visit, the glassware and cutlery did not seem to be very clean. But lucky as we were sat in a table for four, we had other sets to choose/ settle with.
