We had such a lovely dinner here all down to the friendly Raquel who dazzled us with her smile and was genuinely engaged and warm and caring. We so enjoyed our pizzas here - we used the £1 offer and also hunting down the Elizabethan wall paintings which are astonishing. Thank you 🤩

I arrived early evening in half term, no booking..place was heaving! Nearly left, but was shown to table quickly. Amazing waitress Raquel took my order promptly, promised to get chef and manager working double-quick to serve me in the time I had. And she did! Roasted veggie salad with chicken was delicious, add in the dough balls and a nice glass of rosé - really excellent experience. And you don't often get great service as a woman of a certain age on her own!

The waitress’s attitude was absolutely terrible. The waitress who served us was pregnant, but that doesn’t excuse how rude she was. She completely ignored us whenever we needed help. She told us our coupon couldn’t be used on the set menu, so we ordered the dishes separately, and she just rolled her eyes at us. Later, we found out the coupon couldn’t be used to get any dishes for free at all, which meant we ended up ordering in a more expensive way for no reason. To make things worse, just as we started eating, she suddenly came over and pressured us to pay the bill. What the hell?
