Had my wedding reception here last night it was absolutely perfect and gave us the freedom to bring our vision to life by decorating it ourselves. Seeing everything come together exactly how we imagined made the day feel even more special and personal. Came into The Bear Tavern at prime time on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 14 people, with no booking and no warning. Despite how busy it was, Luke behind the bar and Ethan in the kitchen couldn't have been more accommodating. We were mainly there for a family get-together and to get the kids fed, and both of them handled everything brilliantly. The service was excellent from start to finish, and all of our meals came out together, looking fantastic. A few of us took advantage of the curry and drink deal, which was great value. This is a lovely place. There's plenty of outdoor seating in their beer garden. The food was lovely, and I couldn't resist their coffee and cake deal. The waitress was polite, professional and helpful. The toilets are at the back of the pub. They we're clean and tidy, however there were only 2 cubicles, (for the ladies toilet). I would recommend this pub.
