Pretty good experience here, food is good. We had fish n chips supper which was under a tenner. Fish size was good but it was either overcooked or from feozen, but chips were pretty good. I had gravy on the chips which was nice as well. Overall a decent little chippy. There's nowhere to sit so it's takeaway only but it's a pretty good bargain for this day and age.

This place came highly and it did not disappoint. I was told that their fish and chips are consistently good and can confirm this to be true. Their service is friendly too. It's all take-away, and payment method is cash only, so if you're a visitor, be prepared! They also don't do deliveries. However, it's a very small, quaint chippy, it's worth the visit!

Firstly, hats off to the 4 young girls working in there tonight, all busting a gut, & being polite, efficient and focused....5/5 stars for customer service, well done! However, you're adding FROZEN chicken nuggets directly into the same oil that you're frying the fish in...so it's no wonder that the fish comes out soggy & greasy, coz the oil isn't hot enough. The battered scallop was hard in the middle n all, not cooked through - you're supposed to parboil the potato disc before battering and frying, but it appears this wasn't done properly. Easy changes to make though - just stop adding froze
