Average series of 3 visits early June. No Flora just butter. People who need dairy free on their toast get butter or nothing . This is not good. One staff said Flora is simply out of stock..one said we do butter only. Dreadful service. The 🫖 teapots are absolutely loppy. Dirt on inside of spouts 3 days running across multiple visits. Really unhygienic impression as a consequence. Avoid. On a positive note the toast is tasty, the tea is decent and they sell a Costa vegan sarnie too. Proper taste on the vegan cheeze and ham toasties.

Nice drink nice sandwich, but yet again for costa poor cleanliness. Picked a table cause it had just been wiped down, however quick wipe with a tissue and it was black, also cups were stained and not washed well.

This Costa Coffee site is within the shopping arcade in Whitley Bay and is always a busy one, the staff are very friendly and helpful, they also have a great rapport with their clientele, it is always a pleasure to come in and be greeted with a smile!!
