Takeaway coffee on a busy Saturday afternoon in early November. Gingerbread lattes were tasty yet were served lukewarm. Indoor seating was full, but appeared very messy (floors etc). Friendly staff, despite trying to cope with the popularity of the venue.

Spacious and nicely decorated as usually Nero is. Love the old books spread about. Busy as very central but the staff were nice and kind to deal with customers. Highlight for Raisa as sweet and smiley both of the times we’ve been in!

Ordered a hot chocolate expecting cosy vibes… instead got a full-on chocolate assault 😄 Way too strong, not very nice, and the marshmallows were so hard they could double as building materials. The cream tasted like it had seen better days, which really didn’t help the situation. To top it off, the toilets were honestly disgusting, and the whole place had a slightly odd vibe at one point the staff were hugging and consoling each other like they’d just been through a breakup. Not quite the relaxing café experience I had in mind.
