We tried Beecher’s inside Bellevue Square during our family trip to Seattle. I wanted to try Beecher’s while we were in the area, and this was a convenient way to check it off without having to wait until Pike Place Market. I ordered the mac and cheese with a handmade meatball. The mac and cheese was good, but honestly a little underwhelming compared to the hype. It was still tasty and comforting, but I expected it to stand out more. The handmade meatball ended up being the best part of the meal for me and had great flavor. I’ve tried the smoked salmon Mac and cheese and the Flagship Sandwich from this Beecher’s locationand they were both so incredibly good! The staff is also super friendly and hardworking and work really quick to get through the long lines that happen here from good the food is!!

I've been to the Beecher's at Pike Place before, and had the normal mac & cheese, so went with the smoked salmon variety here. Don't know if I just got lucky - but the bowl was incredibly hot - I had to wait a minute for it to cool down before eating Other than smoked salmon, the other difference from the normal mac & cheese is the garlic. This definitely adds an interesting flavor component I think I actually like this more than the plain one. The same creaminess from the cheese is there, as is the perfect cook on the penne pasta. Reasonably fast service. It's in Belle Square so be prepared to drop $15 or $20 for a medium sized sandwich. The tuna melt had finely minced ingredients (onion, carrot, cuke?) evenly mixed in: classy. Weekday lunchtime was not crowded, so we only waited about 10 minutes for proper toasting - Yes, freshly toasted, not sitting under heat lamps. Connected to the Caffe Vita counter if you want good coffee with treats or sandwiches.
