Light on spice heat, but still good seasoned flavors Pleasantly drenched when asked for dipped Great flavor retention from the sogginess of the roll. Directly kiddie corner with the Turano bakery, and it shows in their choice of roll and taste 😋 Fast service and attentive staff Lots of people ordering gyros. 3.8 for the beef

I think Pete’s makes one of the top 10 Italian beefs in Chicago/Chicagoland. The beef is sliced paper thin, the bread is fresh not stale and comes from Turano down the road, and the giardiniera gives it some heat. I tried their Italian ice as well and it was good. The dining room was clean and the staff was friendly. My family and I will be back.
