And the decor and wall hangings will have you step back into yesteryear. I’ve always passed by here because it tends to be extremely busy due to its location and popularity. This afternoon I am happy I was able to break bread here. By the way, you may receive a free hug 🫶🏽

Pretty good pub food, though nothing out of the ordinary -- but they do have nightly specials, and they make their own potato chips. Options for vegetarians and vegans: my friend loves their blue cheese veggie burger. Old-timey Victorian pub atmosphere, and the staff are extremely friendly. They have a popular happy hour. You can see why this place is well-liked. Prices, though, are high, even by DC standards and especially for a local place.
