It was a different and enjoyable spin. I had the shrimp and grits and they were quite delicious. The grits were done well and the shrimp were healthy portion. The pancake was perfect fluffy perfection. My husband biscuits and gravy, he was a taken aback because the flavors weren’t what he was used to but still very good. The sausage links were the highlight for him. Taut and crispy on the outside and full of flavor once you bite in. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

Service was good and fast. I really enjoyed my shrimp and grits. It was a good portion and a fair price. I don't think they've raised prices since i've started coming here. The potatoes are always good to have as a side. My partner said the biscuits and gravy tasted good, but they were not warm. The gravey was full of sausage, but a little runny. Will be back.

I stopped by Doozy's Diner in Catonsville today for a late breakfast around 11 a.m. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but inside it has an eclectic charm with turquoise accents, benchs with pillows, and it's interesting artwork. It definitely feels like a neighborhood diner where a lot of locals gather, and it was a little noisy with families and kids and everyone in close quarters. Our server, Adele, was very friendly. I ordered the bowl with brisket and avocado mash and a side pancake to go. Service was great and quick. The bowl was decent though the brisket was lacking in flavor or crisp. I was severely disappointed on the pancake though. It looked fresh on top but I noticed difficulty cutting it in half. Turns out the bottom was burnt and tough and they hid it and sold it to me that way. It also tasted burnt and was pretty much inedible
