I’ve driven past the Black Bear Diner in Gilroy probably a dozen times and always thought, “One of these days I’ve gotta try that place.” Finally had a couple hours to kill today, so I popped in to grab some food, knock out a little work, and see what all the hype is about. Every time I'm in Gilroy I stop by Black Bear diner for a meal 😊 The staff are really nice and our tables are always clean. They have cute merch and a relaxed atmosphere. 10/10! Edit: Have come back to this location multiple times just to see the really sweet staff. Love eating here ❤️

We ordered breakfast for dinner. Tasty. I ordered egg benefict w/ blta and asked waitress how much hollandaise was on top. She offered to specify a smaller amount and it was perfect! Hubby just got eggs, hash browns and a giant biscuit and was satisf I ed. No complaints w food! Waitress was very nice.
