Yesterday, was a very special day for me. I was celebrating an important occasion, and I wanted to treat myself to some almond ice cream from Brewster's Ice Cream. When I arrived, I ordered an almond ice cream, which I really love, but unfortunately it wasn't available. However, the young employee who helped me offered a wonderful alternative- he served me vanilla ice cream and topped with almonds. That simple gesture made me happy and completely satisfied. This was my first visit to a Bruster's in years and a highly satisfying one at that! Stopped here during their final hour of business, and they had their work cut out for them! There was a decent drive-through line and even a few people in line at the window, including us. There were only three employees, but they handled the crowd impressively well, with care for each order. Friendly, welcoming, and efficient staff are a major part of the 5-stars. Literally waited over an hour just now for my icecream mostly because of my driver but whatever my point is that I got someone's else order somehow. Especially with one large bowl being gummy worms with whipped cream like who orders that?!. Just beyond frustrating because I really wanted chocolate ice cream with PB and brownies but I guess we can't even get that right these days. Messed up my chance of coming back. Not paying so much and waiting so long just for my order to being someone else again no way.
